Edthena’s Organization Stats Dashboard

With any edtech implementation, decision makers want to be able to measure their return on investment. Edthena’s new Organization Stats dashboard provides administrators valuable data and evidence-based insights to determine the overall impact of video-powered professional development within their organization. Now, decision makers can understand how Edthena is being used—not just if it is being used.

With the platform, teachers can quickly and easily upload videos of their classroom instruction. They then share those videos with peers and coaches who can add timestamped comments. Organization Stats provides data to help decision makers understand if coaching is aligned to organizational initiatives, how much feedback teachers are receiving, if the level of feedback is changing over time, what professional skills are being measured most often, and more.

As an example, the Collaboration Quotient (CQ) within Organization Stats helps decision makers understand the level of teacher engagement in professional learning conversations. The CQ can reveal if conversations are one-sided or if collaborative dialogue is taking place among teachers and their colleagues. Having access to the CQ enables decision makers to compare what’s really happening during the video observation process versus the expectation.

This new Cool Tool is now available to the all the schools and districts using the Edthena platform to make video observation an integral part of instructional coaching, professional learning communities (PLCs), and peer observation. Learn more about Edthena and its new dashboard here.
