As the CEO and Founder of KnowBe4, Stu Sjouwerman is very involved with reviewing courses and providing feedback on the best practices for education. Stu has trained over one million learners in the critical area of cybersecurity awareness. He has invested in buying education content companies from across the global and bringing them into a modern company to accelerate their growth and reach.
Stu was recently recognized with two awards: The EdTech Leadership Award, and also a Cool Tool Award, as part of The EdTech Awards 2020 from EdTech Digest. “It’s an honor to receive a leadership award in the education field because I started my career as a teacher and consider it my number one job to educate people about the importance of new-school security awareness training and simulated phishing,” says Stu.
“Recognizing one of our most popular training modules – ‘Kevin Mitnick Security Awareness Training’ – as a cool security tool is an added bonus. I commend all of the organizations that have had to adapt their learning to an online format in a short period of time, yet continue to succeed.”
