HONOREE PROFILE | by Victor Rivero

With more than 15 years of experience overseeing companies and teams that design, develop, market, and distribute high impact learning offerings to the global education market, Jessica Lindl has a wide perspective that serves her well in her current role as VP and Global Head of Education for Unity Technologies.

Prior to joining Unity, Jessica served in positions at both for-profit and nonprofit organizations like Common Sense Media, GlassLab, Scientific Learning, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, working to improve learning outcomes and earning potential for all learners.

Jessica has also spent extensive time in India and Asia working for NGOs prototyping new approaches to solve the challenge of global illiteracy. Her mission is to ensure creators all over the world feel empowered to use Unity. She manages support paths for all creators and learners from beginner to expert, providing them with everything they need to excel using Unity, regardless of which field or industry they choose to pursue.

Jessica’s role gives her a unique global perspective in that she can see around the world who is getting started using Unity’s platform, how to support them on their learning journey, and how quickly they can achieve their own economic success using it. She advocates for the practice of Lifelong Learning so that both today’s students and workers will be prepared for the workplace of tomorrow, one that will demand real-time 3D design and development skills.

For her efforts, Jessica is the Winner of The EdTech Leadership Award as part of The EdTech Awards 2020 from EdTech Digest.
