This award-winning curriculum and instruction solution for grades K-12 is built from the ground up to the NGSS, providing everything teachers need to address Disciplinary Core Ideas, Crosscutting Concepts, and Science and Engineering Practices that form each standard.
Customizable, storyline-driven bundles help students move from one area of content to another in a logical flow. Within each bundle, three layers of phenomena drive student inquiry: anchoring, investigative, and daily phenomena. Using the 5E plus intervention and acceleration lesson model, students engage with all areas of the NGSS using problem-based learning, engineering challenges, scientific investigations, math and literacy connections, and culminating claim-evidence-reasoning assessments.
Available in a digital format, enhanced by print materials, and brought to life through exploratory hands-on kits, the curriculum helps students question the world around them through inquiry and investigation. In each lesson, students learn through a variety of modalities, while rubrics, assessments, and reports help teachers track and support students’ growth throughout the year.
